Long before settling into the Anjou area to make wine in 1999, we ran a wine bar and cellar in Tours. That's where we met wine-makers such as François Chidaine and Jo Pithon who gave us the inspiration to start wine-making. We opted for a vine-growing and oenological course with, as tutors, two of our guiding lights, Thierry Puzelat and Christian Chaussard, at the Lycée d'Ambroise. 1995-1996 René made his first wines at Boissay sur Claise in the department of Indre et Loire. Seduced by these first wines, Jacky Dallais helped us a lot and it's thanks to him that René was able to work in Bourgogne. 1997-1998 Volnay/Pommard. We met Jacquou Thevenot, François Mikulski, Dominique Derain and Frédéric Cossard. 1999 Jo informed us that a domaine was available in Saint Lambert du Lattay and here we are.
